The steed snorted, this young intruder was working his last nerve. If he were younger and had a bit more endurance he could have finished the fight, but he could feel the old age creeping up on him. He tossed his dial high and let out a shrill scream, which caught all his mares attention. He glared once at the other and took off at a gallop through his herd, with the following. Lou Lou looked quite surprised when her protective steed gave up. As he passed her by she gave his a fleeting glance, as the herd took off after him. SHe stood, watching her only known family gallop off without her. SHe glanced over to the other steed that had caught her attention.

As the herd took after the tall lead, the dun filly was knocked off her feet and hit the ground. Unfortually for the yearling, it gave the persistint human a chance to try and catch the foal...

((It kinda sounds like Ashquar gave up, but I dont think anyone could win that fight... lol))
