 The steed glanced at the newcomer and nickered to his mate, telling her that he had been welcomed into the herd. The small mare looked at the other and approched him. She looked like a mere yearling filly, but her dep pools held confindence and a strong will. SHe dipped her dial down lightly. Hello and welcome to the herd, my name is Malakeh, the Lead mare Her soft voice turned stern when the word "lead" came up, but it soon melted back into her soft voice. Some other mares looked upon the newcomer, wodering why their tall protector was letting another stallion so close to their herd, but they were all calm and would introduce themselves if he asked or they felt like doing it themselves.
