*~*Soul jerked his head up and spotted the trespassers on the horizon. He reared up abd let out a tyhunderous scream and came down and began circling his mares. They wouldn't rest tonight*~*

*~*Steel raced in and out of the herd biting and kicking the various members yto attention then she worked her way to the front preparing for their departure*~*

*~*Dixie Thunder pranced in all the excitement and raced about looking for her position. She spotted the figures on the hill and felt a shiver run down her spine humans She reared up and pawed at the air and let out a velvet scream. Daring them to pursure*~*

*~*HeartBreaker,Silent, and Faith all headed towards the middle pushing their young ones along towards the middle. Faith kicked out at steel as the mare bit at her young one and uttered a harsh cry. She would die before her baby was caught...they all would*~*

*~*Golden Sunset pranced about and began running small circles preparing herself for fleeing. She looked to the other trying to keep the herd in count. It was her job to protect the mothers and the herds future. Her muscles tensed and rippled and she let out a call*~*

*~*Past followed his father helping him circle the mares...this would possibly be his last run from them before his father exiled him*~*

*~*Rising and Freedom got behind the herd they were quick and could easily get to the front if need be. Myst pranced and Freedom reared and nipped at her never losing sight of his sister*~*

*~*Mistake Stood next to Dixie and also issued the challenge to the shadow. She let out a buck then split from the other mare with a kick and headed to the other side of the herd and began to shift uneasily. SHe was ready*~*

*~*~*~*~* Twisted Noted the herds uneasiness and looked frantically for the source. Ther on the hill. He looked at the two tame horses and snorted i disgust. His strong muscles rippled beneath his coat and he reared up elegantly then landed and set off at a gallop charging the intruder ears pinned malice intended*~*~*~*~*
