STORY: He whickers softly, inviting his son to lope over to a river in sight. When they get to the trickling brook, he glances back at his herd then grazes.
JOKER: She continues to lope, then comes to rest by the rest of her family; Izzy, Voice, and Dice. At Dice's confrontation, she whickers shrilly and trots around the stubborn mare to the elder horses.
FOOL: He follows his sire faithfully, and upon reaching the bank he leaps down into the water.
DICE: The mare snorts and lunges at Joker, braying a warning to keep to herself.
IZZY and VOICE: They let their herd's younger females fight, powerless to do anything except continue their whickering conversation.
