The white creature lay on the ground, panting for air. SHe had been traveling over the human lands, before someone thought she must be some kind of monster and shot at her. The bullet had just missed her dial. But it scared her, sending her plumiting down to the earth. SHe fell through trees, which slowed the fall. But insead of landing gracefully, the mare had hit the ground with a thud. Now she lay panting, the fall had broken a wing. SHe knew she would probably die without help, she knew nothing of humans.
