Lead stallion looks about with his mares close at foot. He then settles himself to a halt and nickers to the mares, telling them it was safe to graze and it was time for a rest. However, as the mares grazed, he did not. He was watchful. He had a pregnant mare and one that had given birth last night to his first heir. They had been sold to a neglective owner and they escaped, now they were finding their way around.
