DICE: She whickered sofly and grazed, not really caring much for the old mare as she was her rival's mother. That and the fact that she had spoken many a cruel word to her on numerous occasions.

IZZY: She snorted in relief that at least Hamish was kind, and returned the nuzzle, resting her head on the ground, waiting for everlasting sleep. Breathing came ragger from the position she was in and she whispered, "Don't let Dice's stubbornness stop you from anything. Discipline her if it's needed." And before he could reply, she breathed out one ragged breath, shut her eyes, and passed away.
Of the original six in the herd, three remained, two were dead, and one had left. What would happen to the shaken individuals?
