Subject: Last year, we bought my boys a wagon instead of baskets (m)
In reply to: amt58103 's message, "What's going in your Easter basktes? Just need brainstorming ideas.... nt" on 20:25:54 04/01/03 Tue

All the stuff that is sold to fill easter baskets is kinda girly, in my opinion (I have 3 boys). It's all pink and purple and with cute little bunny rabbits and such, and all the candy doesn't really do them any good (most of it ends up in the trash, anyway). And that easter grass - UGH.

We got a nice Radio Flyer wagon (they needed one anyway), put a small stuffed rabbit in each seat, and put some candy, treats, little toys (cars, water guns, just small fun stuff you could find at the dollar store), etc. at the bottom of the wagon. They had a ball going through the wagon, seeing what was in there. In fact, my oldest didn't even realize that the "basket" that contained all of his treats was actually a wagon until about 5 minutes into it!

It was alot of fun!
