Subject: 65th GA Forestry State Pageant Author: Anonymous [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 21:22:49 01/03/04 Sat We are now accepting applications for at large contestants(contestants who do not have a pageant in their county). We accept one contestant per county and one contestant per college in each age division. The deadline to enter is April 5th or the first to enter in each age division per county or college for at large contestants. The age divisions for State will be Tiny Miss ages 3 to 6 years, Little Miss ages 7 to 9 years, Junior Miss ages 10 to 12 years, Teen Miss ages 13 to 16 years, and Miss ages 17 to 23 years. The pageant gives over $60,000.00 in college scholarships. All top five winners in all age divisions receive nice gifts, silver engraved trays and scholarships or savings bonds. The official Miss Georgia Forestry crown, rhinestone satin banner, crowning pin, rhinestone robe, crown box, flowers, and more gifts than we can name here! We will also be giving two non finalist academic scholarships this year to the Teen and Miss Divisions. Miss Georgia Forestry receives all her expenses paid to travel the State of Georgia in promoting Georgia's Number One Industry, Forestry. All Queens receive over $3,000.00 worth of gifts including stereos, dvd players. Miss Georgia Forestry also receives an official diamond and emerald Miss Georgia Forestry ring. Miss Georgia Forestry also is paid for appearances. The queens are featured in several magazines and the Teen and Miss have signs in their counties welcoming visitors to their county with their name and titles. The Georgia Forestry Queens never have to find transportation, they will always have a custom built float to ride on in parades and all their appearances are lined up by the State Director.
