This information is from Dave Beverly (yeah, that guy is a veritable fountain of info!):

There will be an open race track day Hitchcock this Sunday so if you are interested in some track riding time come on down to the Old Blimp base Sunday the 15th.

There are no requirements to tape your glass or wire your fasteners, just ride your bike, this is not a race, but rather an opportunity to ride around a marked track and practice corning, braking, etc. without the worry of cars or corners that eat you up if you lose your nerve. The
track is .9 miles long and because of the lack of a long straight, it is relatively slow. Required safety gear is a full face helmet, gloves, boots, and leather jacket. It costs $30 to ride. There are no concessions on the track, so bring something to drink or you can ride back to 2004 and hwy 6 and buy something.

Look at this web site for a few more details:
GrandSportSpeeway.com

The track is located on 2004 at the old World War II blimp base. The track is open all day but Eric says arriving around noon is about right.
