i'm kidding of course. i hope you stick it out. i can only speak personally here, but when i stopped drinking and smoking (granted, i never considered myself hooked to either--i just recognized my penchant for them and a family connection to enjoying both a little too much), i still look at that moment as one where i gained an incredible amount of self respect for myself. it takes some impressive will power and strength and determination to avoid them, even on a social level. it'd be difficult to imagine being a die-hard and doing away with it. best of luck to you.
