Subject: this is for you, Lawshark!

I wrote and placed this on behalf of my client at the World Trade Center after the editorial page blindly wrote another "up with government, down with greedy developers" piece on Monday. the letter appeared in today's paper.

To the Editor:
Re “Down to the Wire at Ground
Zero” (editorial, Feb. 13):
Your disappointing evaluation of
the financial analysis of the World
Trade Center rebuilding plan pre
pared by the City of New York basi-
cally boiled down to: “If it’s good
enough for the city, then it is good
enough for us.”
While I appreciate your informing
your readers of the fact that Silver
stein Properties issued a forceful re-
buttal of the city’s analysis, you owe
them a much more substantial ratio-
nale for taking sides than, in your
words, “the city’s analysis looked
solid enough for Mayor Michael
Bloomberg.”
