Subject: Emma update

Thanks for all your posts btw, greatly appreciated!

Emma was seen by an Oncologist expert Dr Retsas. There was some scale of measuring the seriousness of her melanoma. 1 being no recommendations for further tests, and 10 being very bad (!). Emma was a 4. Also the melanoma penetrated to layer 3 of the skin. He recommended blood tests and a PEP (?) scan. Emma had the blood tests this afternoon and is having the scan next Wednesday. He said these were just for base-lining and would be surprised if they came up with anything else.

I mentioned in a post to ABF that I would phone him tonight if everything was ok. I think I'll wait to speak to him after all results come in.
