Subject: nicknames, i've had a few ...
In reply to: bfny 's message, "I had some nicknames in college" on 08:16:31 03/29/05 Tue

... one of my college roomates who also happened to come from Mt. Olivet called me "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" (after the Nuge you always heard him blaring out walking back to the end of Conn Terrace from class every Friday afternoon). collectively he and i were otherwise famously known as "Wince & Vince (his name was Victor), the Vacuole Brothers" for our prodigious abilities to consume victuals. his brother Dudley (no shit, that's his actual name) called Vic, "Prof. Atley P Dungwell" (he liked his facts & figures), "At" (spoken derisively) for short.

all through the rugby years it has been "Chief", i suppose for my alleged Cherokee aspect.

at Denger's Woodburning Supply, they used to call me "Planet Wayne" in the wake of the first Wayne's World movie, "The Planet" or just "Planet" for short.

delivering baggage they lovingly called me "Night Train" for my own love for making the all night swings (and getting them off the hook) all over Eastern Kentucky.

in the taxi world i'm "45".
