Subject: that Doherty guy is a goof...

...so I'm sitting there watching the game with my two UK brothers and my UK brother in law and at the end of the first O.T. - they are throwing out suggestions as to what to do. I said, you guys are all wet. They need to have Rondo hold the ball until about eight seconds then have him drive to the basket. He either puts up the shot or is fouled. If he shoots, you send four guys crashing at the boards. Well, Tubby and me were on the same page but I don't what that Rondo kid was thinking. I haven't seen such an end of the game brain fart since..well...since Felton mucked up the final play in Duke/UNC 1 in February...

I also laughed at one of my brothers when he exclaimed after Sparks' shot, "Tubby is a genius. That was just great coaching." Oh yeah, I reply, Tubby designed it so that the second failed three point attempt would carom off the front of the rim, somehow make it past the scrum of rebounders (who were then woefully out of position in the confusion that occurred after the first three-pointer was missed) and land in the hands of your best 3-point shooter in the middle of the court just outside the arc. Genius I tell you!

PS: I was cheering for the Cats...
