Perhaps an instant messaging system would be a viable solution here? Either Yahoo (which makes the most sense, since that's where you might eventually get to play) or AOhell. You could at least have an idea when someone might be on and make plans/find each other, rather than try and leave 20 hit and mostly miss messages here.

Not that I'd especially like this fun to go away, you understand.

There just comes a point when it becomes painful to watch your friends stagger around in the dark.
