I moved to NYC a year before she graduated from college. We hadn't been dating all that long. I was sure that we were through; she wasn't sure we were through but she had no intention of moving to this vile city and once I got a taste for it, knew I wasn't leaving. Some twists here; some turns there; a leap of faith or two, and here we are fourteen years later with two kids, a huge mortgage and a relationship that has never been stronger.

You really never know, Chambo. Don't close your mind to the possibility that this is a bump in the road that, while literally putting more distance between you, may ultimately bring you closer together.
