I'm more of a dog guy myself - my wife had to lobby for a cat for about five years before I backed down. But NYC is a tough place to have a dog. And The Skid grew on me much more than I ever thought she would. I generally don't like other people's cats, but they are pretty cool when you have one and form a bond and get to know their many quirks.
