We've barely spoken to each other since New Year's Eve. His wife thinks Emma doesn't like her, and vica versa. So of course we've each taken respective sides (complicated by the fact that our mother is part living with my brother and helping to bring up his 2 girls - and she and my sister-in-law have also fallen out big time, so my mother is being given the cold shoulder). And then of course there is their idiotic move to Romania. Mu mother has also lean't them a considerable amount of money, which she is now asking for back as they have decided to sell their house to move to Romania (dorks!). This has also caused chaos.

We may be getting to an agreement re. our partners that it was all a horrible misunderstanding, but it has left a very bad taste in the mouth. I don't like the way they behaved for some time - towards Emma, my mum, and even my Dad (who's 76 this year and who knows how long he has left). Emma has been behaving like there has been a death in the family, and I can't shake her out of her depression. She just blames herself for everything. Really I think I gave them far too much of my time and now Emma has come onto the scene they are resentful that I'm not over as much helping them out.

That's it in a nut-shell but there are many more nuances involved!!
