Subject: well, guess who got carded the other day ...

... buying a twelve of Corona lights at the Meijer store. i told this little seventeen-year-old girlie, "bless your heart and aren't you sweet, but how old do you really think i am?", to which she replied i looked like i might be twenty-five to her. she was clear-eyed, wasn't on drugs or nothin' that i could tell and spoke pretty good English, to boot. i remember last time i got carded was on my 42nd birthday nearly five years ago, because i told that guy that i had of that day been officially legal for 21 years and accused him of making a pass. maybe i should just forget the facial hair altogether?
