So much so that I won't even wait for my invite.

Seriously folks, things have been crazy-busy... I'm in the process of hiring another employee in the lab, which will make my life MUCH easier. Lately I've been trying to do enough work in the lab to keep a full-time person busy, except I'm doing it while spending considerable time on the road, and when I'm in the office the damn phone and e-mails don't stop, so that I have trouble even getting into the lab. Not that I'm bitching, but... well, bitching a little maybe.

Those of you who were hoping my extended absences were due to a woman... I wish I could say they were. There was a girl who I thought had some potential for about 5 minutes, but this gal requires much more attention than I can give (not speaking in the sack, of course, although perhaps that is true as well) - she's cool, but very high maintenance, and accused me of being a "bad caller." Which I probably am, but I don't need a gal that's gonna point it out 10 times before our first date.

There's another woman on the horizon who intrigues me, although I don't know that there's any serious possibilities of something long-lasting, on account of she's only 23. But the thing is... well, she's 23, and that intrigues me. Seriously, she's young and beautiful and pretty cool, and we hung out quite a bit last weekend, and I hope to do so again.

Oh, and she just got a job at the new Hooters by my house. Seriously, she's really nice.
