Well, okay, so the whole idiot thing isn't new. The kidney stone was, new, and brutal, I might add. Actually, while it was in my kidney, it was no big thang. When it broke out and got stuck - whole different ball of wax. Two weeks of slow and continuous torture. CT scan shows multiple others, slightly smaller and on down in size, just hanging out. Like Damacles Sword. Turns out, I have a huge family history, mostly affecting the female side, as my sister and mother have suffered through them in the years I've been away. That information might have been more helpful at the onset but being helpful has never really been my family's strong suit. So there you have it.

Previous to that, I had been picking up a lot of overtime hours, stashing the money away for all the rainy days coming up in my boys' lives.

I've been following along, as always, even though I couldn't muster up anything remotely entertaining to share.

I'm heading to Cleveland for a long Mother's Day weekend. Ryan and I plan to hit the junkyards and racing car toy stores. Gotta Fast and Furious the kid's car. As you all know, horsing around in a store with my kid is so right up my alley and how I'd choose to spend any day, let alone Mother's.

And color me so not surprised over the two breathing holes in your face thing. I can definitely see you Siberian.

I mean that in a good way.
