An alternate origin is that it's Polish. Poles are a western Slavic tribe in origin, but I'm not sure on the validity of this source for the name Insko. Seems to me the English origin fits in better, and since we know you have some Indian blood in you (which definitely traces back to Siberia) we have an intriguing mix of west country English (very remote part of England even today)/remote American/Siberian shaman. Serious mojo is what I'm thinking!
