I don't exactly see it the same way but I'm sure that I am wrong on that count, so I'll pay more attention to it. The thing is, since the buildup to the Iraqi War, I can't remember many if any times that someone provided me with the courtesy of an "I see your point" response. Not you, mind you, but I've gotten a lot of comments questioning my patriotism, my right to question, my coddling of Saddam, etc., etc. And to my mind, I don't start at least 90 percent of the debates that occur on the board, but I can't help myself when I see someone take a very grey issue and try to make it very black and white.

Now, I will certainly grant you that I am sure I've been annoying with the "I told ya so's" -- and I should work on that -- but after being vilified for daring to question the Iraq War in run-up (despite going to great lengths to affirm my conflicted views on the matter) -- well....I just can't help myself.

I will take your criticism to heart though.
