They got all the big ticket items but really were lacking in the utility belt refill department. They were fresh out of little airline bottles of Maker's Mark and bite-size Snickers.

They told me Chip Kidd was the illustrator for cover art on a lot of superhero anthologies. He also did the dinosaur skeleton for the Jurassic Park logo. If you haven't already, he's an easy Google search. But since you don't know him, he's obviously not reached icon status or anything like that.
