Subject: OK ladies, I now begin....m

The 8 month odyssey of parenting alone...Glenn left for Toronto this morning at 6:55am. He is on course for the next week and then teaching until sometime next year...ho ho ho.

Also, Lynece, I don't have your email addy since everything here had crashed. Suffice it to say, I am worried that my previous problem person (you know whom I mean) contacted me yet again (when everything crashed, I forgot to set up the filters again). Can you reassure me that she doesn't have this site on her list to follow me?

Anyhow, Bekah, Sam and I are already up. Just have to get some socks into the washing machine or else my girls will go to church with no socks on today! Whatever happened to when I had 6 wee little kids and the chores were always done? Oh yeah, it was because I was always doing them!

I miss everyone here - I'll try to update when I can, but with working, running the household and being alone,...on second thought, I'll be here a lot just for venting!

You are such a strong woman. Even though I'm sure you say you have no choice, I couldn't do it. I'm sure I would just stop bawling the minute he stepped out the door. I am so proud of you for doing this! I am so confused though. Where is he going and why? And you probably don't have time to answer, so that's ok. How's Cedar? And how are the kids doing so far? You're taking of 6 kids all by yourself? You are in my prayers! I guess I'm just saying way to be! And I'm sorry!!!

Toronto for 8 months. He is training this week and then teaching for the remainder of his stay. He is an ITC (Information Technologist) for a big international food company.

Cedar is being a regular puppy and driving most of us crazy. She is certainly not Chance, and we hate comparing the two, too. Rachael asked me if I loved Cedar and I told her to ask me that in about 2 yrs time! This 2-yrs of puppy behaviour is enough to keep anyone from getting a dog!

Thanks for the vote of confidence - the kids have been a huge help. It is the almost 22-yr old living in Toronto who will pick up his first motorcycle on Friday that has me worried!
