School started for me today!

I was sooo not ready. We only got 1.5 work days actually in our classroom and I was not a nice person to live with over the weekend.

But... my class seems nice. There's a few boys I'll have to keep a firm hand on, but it is fun being back in 4th grade after 10 years. They can do a lot more than 2nd graders!

Hannah started 2nd grade today and Cam will start 1st tomorrow(he met his teacher today) Calista is not happy that her preschool doesn't start until after labor day.

DH took today off as it is birthday (37) and so that he could help get the kids off as I felt guilty for not being able to be there. I wish I had a clone of myself on days like this. LOL

Well, off to bath and a bed. Jo, I'm understand about the 5th birthday. It was a very tough one. I hope you feel some peace.

I knew it would be, but I was just so happy last year that we were in Manitoba and not Ontario as in Ontario, school starts at age 4...but I knew it was coming, just a little taken aback by how much it is bothering me already.

Have fun - you are a great woman so you must make a terrific teacher, too!
