Subject: Hi all!

I borrowed Lynece's funk. I've been very tired lately, not sleeping well. The doc prescribed a sleeping pill, so I could feel rested. I hope it will work. I really just want to curl up in a ball and sleep for a year, but that's not gonna happen.

Right now we are trying to decide where we want to live. We moved away from Dh's parents and about 2 hrs closer to mine last July. Dh promptly lost his job and has been searching for a replacement since Sept. He was offered a job that would have been 8-8 six days a week. It would have paid the bills, but DH has had that schedule before and his health couldn't handle it. This job was back in Winston-Salem, near his family and most of our friends. It was hard for him to turn down.

We are just praying he finds something soon. Our tax return came in and that helped alot, but instead of getting ahead, buying a decent car, etc., we are paying off the piling up bills. I'm hoping we have enough left to get our phones turned back on.

Enough of the whine fest. We are very blessed in many ways. I just wish we could find some finacial relief and DH could do something he likes.

Right now we are gearing up for my sister's wedding in the Columbia, SC Temple in March. I'm helping a friend of ours with her dress. It's so exciting. Today I'm stringing beads to go on her dress. Thursday I helped pin the pattern and Monday I'll be cutting. I don't sew very well and watching our friend DeeDee is giving me a crash course. It's inspired me to try and get my yard sale sewing machine up and running. My friend suggested I do a quilt in memory of my angels. I had one I was planning anyway, so I think I'll do it.

I hope everyone is doing well. Take care.

We miss you Anna Marie!

I hope that your hubby is soon blessed with a job that will be good for you all. I cann't imagine how a company could expect a person to work 12 hours/day 6 days/week ???? That's just nuts! Money troubles are so draining. I understand that " I really just want to curl up in a ball and sleep for a year " feeling...that's how I feel most of the time lately too. I think it's great that you're helping with the wedding dress....it's probably like a 'mini escape'.I find crafting to be very relaxing, right now I'm particularily interested in scrapbooking. And what a wonderful idea to do a memory quilt for your angels. You're inspiring me to do the same. I have 12 little angels up above and it would be so perfect to make a square for each of them. My very tired brain is bubbling with ideas. My last baby left me on valentines day 2 years ago this week so of course his square would have to be full of hearts and a cupid. Melanie Rose left in sept of 82 , her square will be a rose garden. ....sigh....thank you Jenifer, for posting this idea, my heart is lifted. I will make my first square on valentines day...it seems fitting.

I'm thinking of getting my kids to help make the squares on our memorial quilt. I'm not quite sure what the squares will be yet, but it appears my living children need some healing too. Maybe they can help me decide.

I find crafting to be very soothing. I had just started knitting a baby blanket for my neice because I need something to calm me down, when my friend asked me to help with the dress.

I wish you the best of luck with your project Robin.

PS. about the job, it wasn't always 12 hrs every day, but DH had to be available if it was and he had to work every day but Sunday. About once a month he came home after 9. It was piece work and when it was slow the scheduler would give him 1 morning job, 1 afternoon job and 1 evening job, tying him up all day, for very little return. I'm not eager to go back to that.
