Subject: A little milestone for Sam.....m

Sam has been in the intensive speech program for about 3 wks now. Today, for the very first time in his life, he actually said the word 'up' as 'up' and not 'bup' or 'bop' or 'top' or 'Bob'. When he first did it, both his therapist and I looked at each other and she made him do it another three times - and then we gave lots of whooping and applause for him.

Just a little word, but it sure got a lot of attention.

That is so awesome! It's moments like that that make being a mom worthwhile huh? I guess Sam is trying to "up" his vocabulary skills LOL!
