Different types of losses by Cherokee Ilse - you can find any of her books available on-line directly from her home. She is a wonderful writer and our local hospital actually began purchasing one of her books (purply-pink colour cover) for newly bereaved parents to leave the hospital with. It is very basic and has good answers to questions that other people may ask you.

But Gone Too Soon was given to us by dear friends who live in Bountiful and it was an excellent book.

One of my coping mechanisms was reading everything thing I could get my hands on.

Gone Too Soon: The Life and Loss of Infants and Unborn Children

Sherri Devashrayee Wittwer

Mourning With Those Who Mourn

Steven C Walker & Jane D Brady

Non-LDS

Empty Cradle, Broken Heart

Deborah L Davis

Surviving Pregnancy Loss

Rochelle Friedman Bonnie Gradstein

Gone Too Soon is defiantly the best on my list. If you have access to one I would encourage you to find a support group as well. I don't know how I would have made it through my grief if I had not found the group I attended for several years. I was able to actual see and hear other people who had been through similar losses. And I could see that they were making it but having just as hard of a time as I was. It really helped me deal with my emotions; I could see myself as normal in that group. I went to three different groups before I found one that I felt like I fit in, it was discouraging at first but I was really able to move forward once I found the right group for me.

Mary
