Subject: Our half bathroom is almost remodeled!!! I get the toilet and vanity out of my front hallway today!

Actually for Jon being on Night shifts 6 out of the 8 days we've been working on it, we've done it really fast. The tile is in and although not as shiny as I'd hoped lookes good. The wallpaper looks fabualous. Jon is sooooo good at doing that. I painted the door jam and trim last night and gave the baseboards their second coat as well. Today it will "just" be putting it all back together! It is so pretty and with the good clearance deals we got on the wallpaper and tile it didn't cost a lot. My only regret is that we have no reason to buy a new toilet. The one that goes in there is such a weird shape and higher off the ground than normal- almost like a handicapped one! Jon likes it and it works fine, but I think it is so ugly and none of the toilet lid covers fit on it. How's that for being picky? I guess I'll survive with an ugly, elongated toilet!

I finally feel like we are getting some things done around here and the house is beginning (after 15 months) to feel like MINE!

I'll post pics when I get them developed.
