Subject: My kids are into Yu-Gi-Oh as well, do your kids really know how to play?
In reply to: tutter13 's message, "Ok, so do you understand the Yu-Gi-Oh cards? . . .(m)" on 15:59:03 04/16/03 Wed

My oldest always wants to duel others, and thinks he is so smart... but I hate to tell him that he isn't really playing by the rules. I don't know if the other kids are or not. My kids just kind of make up their own rules and duel the cards against each other. I really don't know how they are playing. When I play I just lay a card down and they say what happens.

They go on and on about how they want the blue eye white dragon (sorry Timothy, I just sold yours) and the other expensive powerful cards. But I pretty much just let them have the commons, I tend to sell the better stuff. I actually bought 50 of the Joey and Pegasus Starter Decks and have been selling the cards seperate on ebay. I need to re-list those again, my auctions ended last week on most of them. I also have been selling the PS1 game, I removed all the cards and sold them seperate, so now I am just selling the games for cheap.

All I ever hear is Yu-Gi-Oh. They watch it on tv, have posters in their room and duel (with or without cards) all day long. I did see the Exodia set once, at the mall. They wanted about $125 for it.

I think I will be throwing in some cards into the Easter baskets, commons of course though as they will not be well taken care of by my kids.
