We never did figure out why they were so high. But DH went off the cream and Timothy's results after a couple months were much lower, almost down to normal. So it's possible that somehow he was being affected by it, though we still have no clue how the transmission occurred... especially since medical experts say that it is not possible for it to spread by skin contact.
