Unfortunately most of the available golfing to be done in our area concentrates on other populations. We have a ton of country clubs and a very few public courses. Most of the public courses require children to be 6 years old before they will let them on the range or on the course due to liability. There are only two that I have called that don't have that rule. One is a par 3 course and is over an hour from here. The other is a par 3 and short par 4's course. That is where the pro we talked to is. So, I think we will end up going there. He has one free clinic for juniors coming up on May 31st, but it is for the 8-13 year old market. His lessons for older kids, women and men are much more expensive than for 5 year olds though, I must say. Good thing dh's salary will be going up. :o) He doesn't do clinics for 5 year olds, but he does take them out 2 at a time on the course to teach while they play. I think that's a good thing. But, what do I know?

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it!

Heidi
