I've been on it for almost a year now & it's done wonders for me. I'm not sure about the breastfeeding. I don't think it is "ok" to take while breastfeeding, but that is just something I think I remember. If that makes sense.

I take it in the a.m. and it doesn't make me tired at all, although it lets me settle down when I do want to take a nap and it's allowed me to sleep better at night. I suffered a lot of insomnia before taking it.

Jeff calls them my "happy" pills. I think he thinks that I've come to the point that I don't care or worry about things enough anymore e.g. messy house, etc. I just feel that it's let me not worry about things like messy houses and things that are not really important in life. I feel now that it is so much more important to enjoy life, enjoy my children and not worry about how my house looks, etc. I feel I"ve become more competent at work and I don't let things overwhelm me like they used to.

I'm not easy to cry anymore, but I do cry. I know that is one thing my doctor asks me about to make sure I'm not becoming under-sensitive, which I guess can happen. I'm not stoic or hard as a rock. I still cry and get upset, but I don't let it control my life as I used to.

Does any of that make sense. I used to feel like I wanted to hide the fact that I needed this medicine, but I feel so much better on it.

HTH,
Jeanne
