Onto the sturdy chassis frame goes the body which has many panels of Nissan Durasteel which is said to have twice the durability and rust-resistance of zinc chromate steel. Durasteel is also used in Nissan passenger cars and to provide extra protection, the body cavities get a spray of anti-corrosion wax. Further back, the cargo bed area has double-walled construction which adds strength and good resistance to damage

Came from a link on the Frontier: http://www.autoworld.com.my/v2/news/nb_details.asp?awreviewid=1598&awcatid=rt.atc.car.pv

According to Nissan...
DURASTEEL® is a zinc-nickel alloy with 50% more plating thickness than ordinary galvanized steel. Each panel is then laser-etched, creating an extremely smooth surface on which the paint will be applied.
