Better have an option to switch off, which it does, but INSTANTLY be de-activated when switched off. When speed and / or rapid acceleration is NECESSARY to avoid a collision or make an evasive maneuver, and cannot be attained because of the "eco pedal" that could come back to bite them. We (America) are in the most sue-happy society in history, after all. Just thinking realistically and big picture.............
