I betcha it will return when you least expect it. That's the way these things work, and there is nothing more maddening than an intermittent electrical problem.

What you might want to do is have a dealer plug your X into the CONSULT computer, which will tell what happened the last 500 times you ran the vehicle. Everything that happens electrically is logged so that when something like this happens you know what the problem was- even if it isn't doing it at the time.
