Subject: buying a 2005 Xterra, have questions

I have the option of buying either a 2005 S with 19k for $16500 or a 2005 off road with 57k for $12500. Neither seem to have been abused or beaten, I inspected the under carriage and skids on both and neither have done any towing, both are 4WD. My questions to all you Xterra owners, is the 38k miles LESS on the s worth the extra $4000 ??? thank in advance for any great advice.
