Mine was off right out the lot (2002 model). It's consistantly about 1 - 2 mph low until around 45, then it speads to about 5 -7 mph. And yes, it has the stock tires.

Verified it with GPS. When I tell people about it, they just give me the blank look.

Not even worth trying to explain it again to a service tech - that was a complete waste of time. I just have to be careful and try to use the GPS when on the highway.
