Actually, that's my one big disappointment with the Xterra. The interior isn't tall enough to hold my bike without lowering the seat. But, then again, I am on my second Xterra (a 2006) because I had no problems with my first. I just remove the front wheel and lay it across the back.

With the roof rack 6 feet off the ground, putting bikes up there is really annoying for frequent use.

The Odyssey will hold a bike standing up. My neighbor loved his Odyssey so much, he bought a second for his wife.
