No. If enough people show up with the same problem, Nissan will start a "campaign". What that means is that if someone shows up with the problem out of warranty, they will fix it and charge the part maker. They can't announce to the whole world that this is the case, but they will pay to fix it and chargeback the vendor.

A "recall" is for something serious, like a brake problem for example, that puts people in danger. In that case they d notify everyone and tell them to bring it in for part replacement.
