Crash Landing Of Planes Show Desperation Of US Forces
Without Water And Cut Off From Supplies, US Takes Risks

LSN Staff

Saddam International, Baghdad -- The crash landing of several US supply planes into the US-controlled portions of Saddam International Airport show the desperation of US forces, cut off
from water, to resupply their advance units.

While the crash landing of these planes, which are designed to be able to crash land nearly anywhere, with or without an airstrip, was hailed in the press as a victory, it is equally certain that the planes will not be taking off from the airstrip any time soon.

The willingness of the US to sacrifice three transport planes for the purposes of keeping its troops sufficiently supplied with water so they can remain fighting shows the desperation of the US supply situation, sources stated.

The ability of an airplane to fly water into a region is limited, and without proper ground supply routes, the entire US campaign against Baghdad remains threatened.
