As the news report dated Friday 02 Jan 2004.

95% of Queensland is now drought declared. Weather forecasters are predicting that the drought will worsen this year. These conditions will obviously spread to other areas of Australia in varying degrees. Now is the time that we must prepare and start to act to assist those of our Equine friends who will need even more assistance in the near future. Equine Care Group is lobbying Government Departments both state and federal to assist those effected in a more substancial and timely manner. Any assistance with obtaining sponsors, supporters or donations to assist us in preparing feed relief, temporary agistment, rehoming and personal relief for those on the land would be most gratefully accepted.

So come on people thinking caps on talk to as many people as possible and help us make a difference where it counts.
