Subject: Shar R.I.P Author: Jean [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 27/07/04 4:21pm Hello all, I was fortunate to recieve a horse from your group who was my first rescue case and his name was Shar a kind gelding with the sweetest nature who would trot up the paddock as fast as his little legs would carry him at meal time... After all the goodies he got and my efforts to maintain him in the condition he was in when he came to me he started to pick up slowly and seemed to be bright and cheery in the best green paddock I have.. Unfortunately the cold weather was to much for the old heart I would say, I had the misfortune of finding him passed away yesterday evening.. It breaks my heart to know he isnt with me as he was a lovely fellow who was no problem at all..I am so sad but thought I would let the list know as I dont want to really talk about it and feel like I failed him some-how.. I send this message to you all to let you know he was spoilt and treated well and it is a shame he wasnt here longer.. Thankyou Carroll for your choice of giving him to me.. I feel like I gave him the best care he could have and at least I know he had happy days near the end of his life and now will roam acres of lush grass in horsey heaven..
