Hello everyone,
I am new here. I discovered this great forum as I was searching for a way to find my horses that were sold about 12-13 years ago... a long time ago I know!
I am hoping that someone may have some leads as to whether you know where any of them are.
I had to sell them begrudgingly due to my parents divorce and sale of our property when I was 17 :( and really would love to know whether they are alive and if they are ok, or if they are no longer with us, then just some closure would be wonderful. Their descriptions are:
Sam – 15-15.2hh, black/dark brown gelding, may have been ex-trotter, with a couple of white spots on his neck and wither areas, white star of forehead, has a breathing problem so breath is quite loud (he may not be around due to this). He was sold to a lady called Barbara in Albury, NSW who sold him to someone in Swan Hill.
Boogie Music – 15.2-16hh, ex-race horse, bay gelding, thoroughbred. He was sold to a family in Albury/Wodonga. He had a slight hoof injury.
Minka (Minkara) – 12.3hh (approx), New Forest Pony, Bay mare. Sold to a family at Table Top, just out of Albury.
I would truly appreciate if anyone had any ideas about finding these horses (or their past life). I would be willing to buy them back for their retirement.
