I had a horse called daniel. I got him when he was 2 weeks old. He was from the wild..his mother was shot by hunters.
I raised him and broke him in. He was always a quite horse, my other horse coffee treated him like her own child she was great with him. When he was 4 I sold him to my neighbours because of financial problems. i worked there full times so i saw him everyday and rode him heaps too. (nextdoor neighbours is a trail riding business)
When i gave up my job there to travel, daniel became a customer horse. When I arrived home he was sick a lump was forming on his belly. One week before he died it was 30 cm long and 20cm high!
We put him down 1 week later.
We have never found out what was wrong with him but he was losing blood too quickly to stop!
He died at the age of 6. It's not fair.
I now own his half brother but Monkie will never have a place in my heart like daniel. Daniel was a special hore...I may never meet another like him again. And that thought kills me!
