Subject: Problems...fixed

APPY: Mickey Blue Eyes looks pretty bad. His head is hanging low, He's got a temperature, and he's off his feed. Better call the vet before he gets too much worse.

Mickey seems as though he might have an infection of his white blood cells I need to look at it further to tell. I will get back to you asap. I gave him a shot of antibiodics to keep him stable for awhile untill I get back.

VICTORY GALLOP: Cookies 'n Cream has slipped in the mud in his paddock. He is favoring his right foreleg. Call the vet, he may have a brokencannon bone.

I have taken ex-rays of his leg and it seems like he has a slight fracture in his leg. He needs to stay off of it for a while and I will give you some pain killers to mix with his feed. Keep him in a seperate pasture, preferably even in a stall with slight walks here and there. I'll check it later and tell you whats up.

UNICO: Your mare Madaline is having trouble keeping weight on her. You may want to consult the vet as to what you can do to help her.

There is not much I can do except try and stay with her while she eats. Um get a sweet feed and mix a weight gain with it. Not alot of excercise untill she starts to show weight gain.

STAR: Your Newborn Andy colt (by Orions Belt out of Consequesnse)is weizing and sneezing. Call the vet.

He has just caught a mild cold. Keep him in of the rain and wrapped in a blanket. Give him a couple of tablespoons of a medicine I will give you. And I'll check him later.

MARI: As you take a closer look at your new TB mare, you find she has a haze over her left eye. Check with the vet. She may either be blind or have an eye infection.

I can't really tell if it is an infection or she is blind. But I will give you some eyedrops that should clear it up in a week or so. If not I will look at her again. I'll contact you soon.

GILLIAN: Your new TB filly has come up lame. She had a sharp rock lodged between her hoof and her shoe. Call the vet to take a look at her.

She has a minor cut on her frog so soak it in some iodine and keep it covered. It should heal in a couple of days.
