Lets get this right. You have a well funded 4 clubs then play off against a non funded amateur outfit. Yeah sure thats fair. I WONDER who'll win that one... Its a closed shop and G6 plans revisited. Well, I'd envisage that the Semi-pro clubs would be well funded by the WRU as that would be a crucial step between ametuer and pro in the career ladder. and OK, scrap the play off and prmote relegate on merit. The 4 or 5 are initially selected on where they finish in the current structure at the end of the season. - As per tasker watkins with a 6 or 8 team premier. No provinces, no franchises or other gimmicks - they arent needed and wont get rid of the problems. TWWP would sort out the funding issue without totally alienating 95% of the rugby supporting public (NT) -- Come on..., 04:20:14 11/18/02 Mon

    - 6 alienates a lot less than 4. Also there is a more realistic chance of promotion/relegation with TWWP report. As for the players argument, yes we do have enough. What we dont have are basic skills and so on which is the main root of our problem. Our players are unfit, unthinking, poorly disciplined lacking in basic rugby skills.
