Subject: Type of match ball and shirts used in Italy v Ireland match

I noted a lot a chat about the ball used in the Italy v Ireland match and how the Irish in particular did have concerns. It being said that they found it reduced thier distance and certainly the Irish were sadly lacking in both accuracy and distance for most of the game.

Can anyone tell me something about this ball...is it used in all six nations games, if so why was it adopted, what is different etc.

Also interested in the new shirt styles and material used. I note the Italian shirts had shiny apart chevron patterns of the fronts.

Can anyone enlighten me about them. I am sude one at least of the six teams are also using similar styles. Whay do they like them clinging as they do.

Come on assist me in my curiosity.
